Deep inside the Radhausberg lies a natural remedy found in only a few places worldwide: the Gastein healing gallery. Warmth, humidity, and the naturally occurring noble gas radon stimulate the body's own repair and regulation processes. And right on your doorstep, Ski amad&eacute; awaits.
Ski days &ndash; 3 days of ski pass and 3 days of ski rental included. Schlossalm, Stubnerkogel, Graukogel, and Sportgastein, with slopes reaching over 2,600 meters.
Healing gallery sessions &ndash; The gallery train takes you into the mountain, where you rest for about an hour. Radon is absorbed through the respiratory tract and skin, and is fully eliminated again after a few hours. Traditionally used as a complementary treatment for rheumatic conditions, ankylosing spondylitis, joint and back pain, respiratory diseases, psoriasis, and neurodermatitis. Many guests report reduced pain and effects that last for months.
Radon thermal bath sessions &ndash; Twenty minutes in warm, radon-rich Gastein thermal water: the radon works through skin and breath, while the warmth relaxes muscles and joints. The gentler form of the same power &ndash; and ideal recovery after a day in the snow. Thermal spa visits &ndash; Time to let it all settle in at the Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein and the Felsentherme Bad Gastein: thermal water, sauna, and mountain views.
Mindfully dosed &ndash; A maximum of one radon treatment per day. Ski days and treatments are coordinated to complement each other well: warmth relaxes the muscles, while radon works deeper and longer. Before your first healing gallery session, you'll speak with an on-site spa physician. You'll receive the schedule at the hotel reception upon arrival. Vouchers for the ski pass and ski rental will be sent to you before your arrival.

Location

The young and stylish hotel is located in the very centre and pedestrian
area of Bad Hofgastein with restaurants and shops. The thermal complex Alpentherme
with its two thermal lakes is 300m from the hotel, the skilift Schlossalm 1km.
The skibus stops 50m from the hotel.

Description

The hotel is in the original building of the historic Salzburger Hof
that was officially mentioned in 1456. In 2020 the hotel was renovated,
extended and in 2021 reopened as the hotel Blue. Since then regular maintenance
work is done.

The hotel accommodates 74 rooms on six floors in two buildings that are connected
to each other.

Comments

A colourful and young boutique hotel in the very centre of Bad
Hofgastein. The name comes from the German word &#8216;aufbluehen&#8217; that means as much
as &#8216;blossoming&#8217;. The guests are welcome to &#8216;blossom&#8217; and have a carefree time,
to mix and mingle with the locals in the restaurant or in the bar, to enjoy the
wellness area or the rooftop garden after an active day in the mountains or just
rest in the library with a good book.

Every Sunday, our guests are picked up directly from their homes in comfortable 8-passenger minibuses and taken to the Nuremberg area. There, they transfer to a large, comfortable tour bus that takes them on to Austria. The return trip always takes place on Saturdays—first by large tour bus to Nuremberg, and from there by minibus directly back to your doorstep.
