From the lake to the slopes in about 30 minutes: Goldeck, Bad Kleinkirchheim, Turracher Höhe. A variety of areas, modern lifts, and lake wellness after a day of skiing create maximum freedom with minimal planning. As a member of the ski carousel, we are allowed to offer you discounted ski passes in winter.

AdventTIME at the lake
Millstätter Lichtweg: Where places are bathed in magical light and trees tell stories. Millstatt am See shines in the most atmospheric colors from November 30, 2025, to January 6, 2026. Tahmina and the mighty linden tree in the courtyard of the Millstatt Abbey tell fabulous stories, and a winter walk continues to carry Christmas wishes out onto the lake.

Dear guests,
from November 1, 2026, the accommodation fee in Carinthia is € 4.50 per night. This amount will also include a mobility contribution of € 0.90 per overnight stay.
This means for you:

• Free travel by train, bus, and shuttle and micro-public transportation (plus "comfort surcharge") throughout Carinthia
• Valid during your entire stay, without regional boundaries
• Ski, hiking, and bike buses as well as special tourist services are also included
• New lines and connections ensure even more comfort and flexibility (e.g., connection to the Koralmbahn, additional circular buses, weekend services)

So with just 90 cents per night, you gain access to all of Carinthia's mobility (excluding call taxis) – a true plus in freedom, sustainability, and quality of vacation.
