Welcome to the Hotel zur Post, a family-friendly Hotel in Doebriach at lake Millstättersee in Carinthia.

As the fifth generation of hosts, Lisa and Mag. Paul Kern with their daughter Klara look forward to welcoming and hosting you at the Hotel zur Post. We are very proud of more than 111 years of tradition in the Hotel zur Post. Our motto: Tradition meets new things. So it is not surprising that you find yourself enjoying a glass of wine in the 350-year-old wine cellar with chef Paul Kern. Senior boss Barbara Kern - Paul's mother - will be happy to show you Lake Millstatt from its best side for a sundowner in a motorboat, of course with a glass of sparkling wine. At reception, Lisa Kern always greets you with a smile and tells you her insider tips for a perfect holiday in the beautiful Carinthian nature.

Famous for its hospitality the Hotel zur Post offers a lot of facilities for a fabulous holiday. Our Hotel owns a 10.000m² lido, a football field, a volleyball court and a boccia course. The sport and animation program is lead by a professional animator.

The Hotel zur Post offers a large spectrum of activities for our youngest guests. At the youth-club teenagers can spend their time playing a game console or watching an exciting movie. In the playroom a nanny looks after the kids while they can play funny games. From there, a slide leads straight to the outdoor playground where children can find a sandbox, a swing, some other slides and last but not least a rabbit hutch.

Three different types of saunas and a professional massage let forget the daily stress. A modern Finnish-sauna, the Eco -sauna and a steam bath will help you to relax.
