Location

The young and stylish hotel is located in the very centre and pedestrian area of Bad Hofgastein with restaurants and shops. The thermal complex Alpentherme with its two thermal lakes is 300m from the hotel, the skilift Schlossalm 1km. The skibus stops 50m from the hotel.

Description

The hotel is in the original building of the historic Salzburger Hof that was officially mentioned in 1456. In 2020 the hotel was renovated, extended and in 2021 reopened as the hotel Blue. Since then regular maintenance work is done.

The hotel accommodates 74 rooms on six floors in two buildings that are connected to each other.

Comments

A colourful and young boutique hotel in the very centre of Bad Hofgastein. The name comes from the German word ‘aufbluehen’ that means as much as ‘blossoming’. The guests are welcome to ‘blossom’ and have a carefree time, to mix and mingle with the locals in the restaurant or in the bar, to enjoy the wellness area or the rooftop garden after an active day in the mountains or just rest in the library with a good book.
