Binter-Hof

Visit us at Binterhof and get to know nature a little better. You and your children are welcome to help out on the farm, in the barn, and in the meadow. You will gain insight into traditional farming practices.

Our farm is located in a quiet, flat valley, surrounded by meadows, forests, and mountains. Relaxation and adventure can be found right at your doorstep. Numerous hiking trails, the Drau cycle path, and in winter, well-groomed cross-country skiing pistes lead right past our door.

The rugged gorges of Ochsenschlucht and Geißlochklamm can be reached within a few minutes on foot.

You can look forward to 3 new holiday apartments in country house style for 2-6 people, each about 44m² in size.
The living kitchen includes a refrigerator (with freezer compartment), electric stove (with oven), dishes, blender, coffee machine, dining area, sofa with bedding storage, satellite TV, and CD player. Bed linen and towels are provided. Use of the washing machine is included in the price.

Three generations live at Binterhof, which has been family-owned for over 350 years. We live and work in and with nature. Our drinking water comes from our own mountain spring. The meat and milk are processed on the farm and refined into cheese, bacon, and sausages. The apples from our orchard are turned into apple juice, apple must, and schnapps.
In our farm dairy, we produce quark (soft cheese), soft cheese, and various types of hard cheese from the milk of our cows.
In the cheese room, fresh whole milk is processed in stainless steel equipment. After the brine bath, the cheese goes into the aging room, where it remains
under continuous observation and care until sale.
