Welcome to Almdorf im Winkl, the rustic, cozy and barrier-free chalet village in the heart of the Schladming Dachstein region.

The 8 chalets were built with great attention to detail in traditional log construction. Each chalet has a fully equipped kitchen with a ceramic hob and special convenience electrical appliances such as a microwave, toaster, steamer with pizza oven, egg cooker, kettle and barbecue grill. The fully automatic coffee machine, filled with coffee beans upon your arrival, sweetens your morning. In order to start the day strengthened, we can bring you a breakfast basket directly to the chalet on request.

Your Alm-Chalet also has a terrace for hours together under the starry sky, pine aroma bedrooms for a good night’s sleep and a cozy living room with a couch and a large country-style jogging table for fun afternoons of games and delicious delicacies to be tasted.

The Almdorf is located in the traditional town of Gröbming, which has been rewarded as a “climatic health resort” and is surrounded by the most beautiful facets of the Schladming Dachstein Tauern region. Cross-country ski runs, hiking and cycling trails lead right past the Almdorf. Riding and climbing opportunities near by and the "Ski Amadé" ski area, which offers you one of the largest ski areas in Austria, can be reached in 7 minutes by car. Your holiday tip far away from the hustle is the local mountain "Stoderzinken", where you can practice all kinds of sporting activities. Here you can also visit the Friedenskircherl, which became known beyond the country's borders through the TV series "Der Bergretter".
