Deep inside the Radhausberg lies a natural remedy found in only a few places worldwide: the Gastein healing gallery. Warmth, humidity, and the naturally occurring noble gas radon stimulate the body's own repair and regulation processes. And right on your doorstep, Ski amadé awaits.
Ski days – 3 days of ski pass and 3 days of ski rental included. Schlossalm, Stubnerkogel, Graukogel, and Sportgastein, with slopes reaching over 2,600 meters.
Healing gallery sessions – The gallery train takes you into the mountain, where you rest for about an hour. Radon is absorbed through the respiratory tract and skin, and is fully eliminated again after a few hours. Traditionally used as a complementary treatment for rheumatic conditions, ankylosing spondylitis, joint and back pain, respiratory diseases, psoriasis, and neurodermatitis. Many guests report reduced pain and effects that last for months.
Radon thermal bath sessions – Twenty minutes in warm, radon-rich Gastein thermal water: the radon works through skin and breath, while the warmth relaxes muscles and joints. The gentler form of the same power – and ideal recovery after a day in the snow.
Thermal spa visits – Time to let it all settle in at the Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein and the Felsentherme Bad Gastein: thermal water, sauna, and mountain views.
Mindfully dosed – A maximum of one radon treatment per day. Ski days and treatments are coordinated to complement each other well: warmth relaxes the muscles, while radon works deeper and longer.
Before your first healing gallery session, you'll speak with an on-site spa physician. You'll receive the schedule at the hotel reception upon arrival. Vouchers for the ski pass and ski rental will be sent to you before your arrival.
