The Steinbauer is the ideal starting point for hikes and climbing tours in summer, as well as for extended sessions on the cross-country ski trail in winter. The warm hospitality and family atmosphere at the Steinbauer will inspire you.

 

With us you stay in spacious and bright double, triple or family rooms with balcony, from where you can let your gaze wander into the magnificent Ramsau mountains. Most of our rooms are newly renovated and invite you to relax in a cozy atmosphere. Culinary we spoil you with products from our own farm with a rich breakfast buffet and every evening, except on Sundays in summer, with a hearty Styrian 3-course menu. Of course, we are happy to cater for vegetarians and special diets.

 

At the Steinbauer farm there is a lot on offer at any time of year. There is a lot to discover here, especially for families and children, starting with the large playground with tower, slide, trampoline, sandpit, table tennis, etc. From the large playground with tower, slide, trampoline, sandpit, table tennis etc. to our small garden house or the go-karts, as well as some meadows to let off steam, play ball games or build snowmen. We also have a games room and lots of books, cards and board games, as well as video and Wi-Fi if the weather is not so good. Children and adults are also welcome to help with the daily stable chores and look after our many farmyard animals such as cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, cows, calves and pigs. Our 4 ponies and 2 Haflinger horses are happy to be groomed every day. They can also be ridden in our own riding arena or on the surrounding bridle paths. A special highlight is of course a horse-drawn sleigh or carriage ride with the boss of the house himself. As you can see, there really is something for the whole family at the Steinbauer.

 

Ramsau am Dachstein is considered an Eldorado for Nordic sports. 220 kilometers of perfectly groomed trails await you right on the doorstep and as a guest at the Steinbauer you can even get cross-country ski trail tickets at discounted rates thanks to the Ramsau Wintercard. Walkers will also find their happiness on the 70 kilometers of groomed winter hiking trails and skiers will also find a great area in the immediate vicinity of the Steinbauer with the Rittisberg and the 4-mountain ski area.

 

In summer, guests in Ramsau am Dachstein can enjoy wonderful hikes to rustic mountain huts, fun, games and action on the Rittisberg adventure mountain or an adrenaline rush on one of the via ferratas at lofty heights.
