Welcome to Landhaus Gritschacher

Our country house, dating back to 1885, combines history with personal charm. Both inside the house and in the garden, you can feel the love for detail – a place that has grown over time and yet lives very much in the present.

Located directly on the Drau Cycle Path, the Alpe-Adria Cycle Route and the Way of St. James, we are an ideal stop for cyclists, hikers and pilgrims. Our house is also well suited for an overnight stop on the way south – just a few minutes by car from the A10 motorway.

Our rooms are individually designed and inspired by artists such as Hundertwasser, Klimt or Walde. Each room has its own character. Modern comforts such as Wi-Fi, internet TV and spacious bathrooms are, of course, included.

In the morning, we serve breakfast in our cosy Defregger-Stüberl with regional specialities, including homemade ham, bacon and jams.
In the evening, we cook in our small Slow Food restaurant exclusively for our house guests.

Our garden invites you to linger. The Roman town of Teurnia is right next door, and trips to the Carinthian lakes and the surrounding mountains are also within easy reach.

Pets are very welcome.
