Hohe Tauern National Park
In pursuit of nature, step by step in the largest protected area of the Alps, the Hohe Tauern National Park - from the green alpine meadows to eternal ice. With our rangers, you can learn about the secrets of the region's flora and fauna. Or have you dreamed of climbing the Großglockner? Then it's time. The summit tour is long, steep, and exposed, but by no means impossible. In two days, you can conquer the 1,800 meters of elevation to the summit cross.

We start early in the morning in Heiligenblut, before the busy day-tripper traffic starts over the Großglockner. Our tour takes us over the Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Höhe, the Hochtor, and the Fuscher Törl into the neighboring Salzburg region to Fusch a.d. Glocknerstraße. In between lie seemingly endless curves, bends, hairpins, ramps, and ascents that we will claim with horsepower, torque, and centrifugal force...
