Winter at Lake Millstatt

• The starting point for your ski day is the Seefischer. Our caretaker takes you daily at 3 fixed times to the nearest ski area, Bad Kleinkirchheim, with the hotel's own ski shuttle bus and safely brings you back to the hotel in the afternoon. The nearest ski area, Bad Kleinkirchheim-St. Oswald (15 km), can be reached in just 15 minutes. The new attractive 4-seater chairlift "Millstätter See" to the Nockalm, which at over 1,900 meters is the highest cable car station in this ski area, is particularly popular.

• With the "Carinthian Ski Pass" (special prices from the hotel for our guests - 10% off a 2-day ski pass when purchased at the hotel from the season 20.12. - 10.9.2025), skiers can explore a different ski area in Carinthia and East Tyrol every day! Whether you head to the Turracher Höhe, the Sportberg Goldeck, the Mölltaler Glacier, or Katschberg, you will be in a different ski area in about 30-40 minutes daily. In total, skiers have access to around 1,028 groomed piste kilometers around Lake Millstatt.
• Off the slopes, the area around Lake Millstatt in Carinthia offers plenty for your personal leisure enjoyment. You can go for extensive winter walks, participate in torchlight hikes, start snowshoe hiking.
