An interesting mixture of tradition and design. The owner's family also runs its farm which they show once a week to their guests. This is also where they get their products from. One part of the hotel is embedded in the ancient cinema of Matrei - so these rooms are the ones in modern design with a lot of wood and glass. The hotel was built in 1995 and is renovated on an ongoing basis. The hotel accommodates 39 rooms on four floors in one building.
The hotel is in the old cinema building in the very centre of Matrei. The skilift "Goldried" is 900 m from the hotel, the skibus stops at 50 m.
Reception (06:00-22:00), a la carte and hotel restaurant, bar, Stube, WiFi in the whole hotel (free of charge), lift, ski storage room, once a week visit of the own farm.
